UN offers assistance on Philippine messed AFP UN fund

Global corruption of UN fund ruins allied countries of US government. Corruption is so widespread that democratic revolution against corrupt governments worldwide starts raging in the Arab world of Middle East and North Africa. From the successful Tunisian revolution followed by Egypt, Algeria and the flare is now up in Yemen.

In the Philippines, the past corrupt government of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is under fire with the imminent dismissal of plunder case against former AFP comptroller Gen. Carlos Garcia, who is charged for the malversation and embezzlement of more than P300-million UN fund for AFP modernization and salary assistance for AFP UN contingent  in East Timor, Haiti, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Philippine Senator and House Representatives  initiated separate probe and grilled former Pres. Arroyo's AFP chief Angelo T. Reyes, who also served as her secretary of  National Defense, Interior and Local Government, Environment and Natural Resources and lastly her secretary for the Department of  Energy.

Reyes was able to attend one hearing each Senate and House before committing suicide by a gun shot wound on his left chest. He was with his two sons, his security aide and driver at his mother's tomb at Loyola Memorial cemetery in Marikina City when it happened.
